Super Bowl Sunday

This is considered a de facto American holiday. This Sunday is the second-largest day of food consumption in the United States, second only to Thanksgiving. The first Super Bowl, Super Bowl I, was played on January 15, 1967. This Super Bowl was won by the Green Bay Packers. The last super bowl played, Super Bowl XLIV, was played on February 7, 2010. The New Orleans Saints won this Super Bowl, making it their first ever Super Bowl when in their franchise history. This was the most watched television program ever, with 106.5 million viewers, taking over the spot held for 27 years by the final episode of M.A.S.H.
